 Hmm...a good snapshot. I personally think that it would have looked better if you would have positioned yourself in such a way that the shadow would have fallen right across the middle of your face, that is, in between your eyebrows and going over the nose sellion. The posture's alright. A likable piece of art I'd say.

-- I learned not to fear the opinions and beliefs of others but to recognize them as honest, heartfelt, different, to be respected, and wrong.  I love how you played with asymmetry here. In the sense that the shadow does not really go across the middle of your face, but rather, it is positioned vertically while your face is the one that is tilted so that it doesn't stay vertical as well.

as much as i loved to be 17, the best was 19. over here you're allowed to do anything you want at 18, but you're not 18 anymore... so you're not a new-one anylonger, but still not in your 20s, ready to be 30  wait for the big 19  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. 17 is a weird age to be at!"
Okay, so let's put a question mark behind your title seventeen forever ! Here it is: ?
I wanted it big and fat because everybody can see it in your eyes: This age is not so much fun, oh no! There are too many struggles and fights, too many unsolved questions and too much ahead of a seventeen-year-old to feel comfortable in this age. All of this can be recognized in your pose as much as in your look, and I think there should be someone to calm you down a little, somebody to care for you, somebody to love you - just someone who's able to show you the moon up above in the daylight and the stars in the sky when it's nighttime. Yeah, life can be so nice.
